Role & Responsibilities
The position plays an important role for LeasePlan Sweden and the whole group in achieving successful business development, high penetration, customer retention and loyalty for multinational clients (LeasePlan International and International Coordination). The position reports directly to the International Coordination Manager (ICM).
The International Account Manager (IAM) has joint ownership together with ICM of the international accounts/prospect and is responsible for account/sales management on an international level. You are empowered to pro-actively manage the relationship, aiming to achieve profitable growth with each account.
You would be the first point of contact for the international account/prospect decision making units and will deal with account/prospect requests. You are responsible for keeping the international LeasePlan standards (SLA), checking the IC-inbox and informing about i.e change of contact person, renewed credit etc. Furthermore, you also assure that up-to-date information on each account is available within Salesforce, including all meeting details and all relevant communication history. The role also requires to provide International Reports to the ICM, the Management of LeasePlan Sweden and to the respective unit within the LeasePlan organisation.
In addition, the IAM with ICM reviews the relationship with international clients on a regular basis, identifies and pursues opportunities to expand the relationship in matters of fleet size, number of services supplied (up – and cross selling) country scope and pricing. You and the ICM also reviews regularly international prospect pipelines, identifying international potential within the LeasePlan world.

You also enjoy dealing with customers, both face-to-face and via e-mail/phone. In addition, you need to be professional, structured, organised and have an analytic way of thinking. It’s also important that your are a team player. You are also expected to be creative, tenacious and capable of handling major accounts in a professional, timely and cost effective manner, after a suitable training period (approx. 4 months from the initial start).
The position is based at LeasePlan Sweden’s head office in Solna, Sweden.
